In The Tuesday Club Murders, six people meet at Miss Marple's house one evening and decide to meet every Tuesday night to solve a mystery. Each member of the group takes turns narrating a real-life mystery, and the others try to solve it.
The first meeting is started by Sir Henry Clithering, who tells the story of how three people fell ill after a dinner and one of them died.
The Tuesday Night Club is set in Miss Marple's house in St. Mary Mead, a fictional English village that Christie created.
