In Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie, famous crime writer Ariadne Oliver is asked to organize a murder hunt for charity at a country estate. The murder hunt is a scavenger hunt where villagers look for clues to a fake murder. A teenager, Marlene Tucker, will play the corpse.
However, Oliver has a bad feeling about the murder she's planning. She believes that a real murder will actually take place. She asks Hercule Poirot to intervene, but a young girl is killed and a woman disappears.
