The Book Of Mormon - Gospel Doctrine teacher's supplement
The Church of Jesus Christ (1981)
In Collection

The 1981 book from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the "Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price". It's black, softbound, and has gold lettering.

Elder Bruce R. McConkie wrote the introduction for the 1981 edition of the Book of Mormon. The introduction states, "After thousands of years, all were destroyed except the Lamanites, and they are the principal ancestors of the American Indians".

Both the Community of Christ and the LDS Church accept the Book of Mormon as a second canon of scripture. The Mormon faith considers the Bible and the Book of Mormon to be the two most important sources.
