Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem: Memories From Family & Friends is a book by Karen Klausner Chute. It's the only book of its kind. The book is based on taped interviews and a travel journal that were packed away for 23 years.

The Clancy Brothers were a musical family of nine children from Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary. The brothers were Paddy, Tom, Bobby, and Liam. Paddy and Tom came to America to pursue acting careers, but they ended up having more success in music. In 1956, the brothers and their friend Tommy Makem recorded an album of Irish rebel songs.

Tommy Makem died in 2007 at age 74 after a long battle with lung cancer. Liam Clancy died in 2009 at age 74 from pulmonary fibrosis, the same disease that killed his brother Bobby.
