The Man Who Died Twice is a book by Richard Osman. It is the second book in the Thursday Murder Club series. The colleague is in hiding after being accused of stealing millions in diamonds from a man known for his connections to the criminal underworld. The group must race MI6 and several vicious crooks to neutralize a number of killers and find the diamonds.
